SwiftScripts — Data Deletion Request

Request deletion of your account and associated data

1. What Data We Store

SwiftScripts is designed with a privacy-first architecture. The vast majority of your data stays on your device and is never sent to our servers.

Server-side data (managed by us)

Account information: Your email address and authentication credentials (managed via Firebase Authentication).
Verification tokens: Cryptographic tokens generated when you create verified prescriptions, used by pharmacists to confirm document authenticity.
Subscription status: Records of your subscription plan managed through Google Play or the Apple App Store.

On-device data (managed by you)

Patient records, prescriptions, sick notes, medical certificates, referral letters, templates, and signatures are stored exclusively on your device in an encrypted database (AES-256).
This data is never transmitted to our servers and is fully under your control.
Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all on-device data.

2. How to Request Data Deletion

To request deletion of your account and all server-side data, send us an email using the button below. The email will be pre-filled with the information we need to process your request.

Alternatively, you can send an email manually to info@synergydesigns.co.za with the subject line “Data Deletion Request – SwiftScripts” and include the email address associated with your account.

3. What Happens Next

We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days.
We will verify your identity to ensure the request is legitimate.
Your account and all associated server-side data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete.

Please note: Once your data is deleted, this action cannot be undone. Any active subscriptions should be cancelled through Google Play or the Apple App Store before requesting account deletion.

4. Data Deleted Upon Request

When we process your deletion request, the following server-side data will be permanently removed:

Your Firebase Authentication account and credentials
All prescription verification tokens associated with your account
Any server-side records linked to your account

On-device data (patient records, prescriptions, templates, etc.) is stored only on your device. You can delete this data at any time by uninstalling the SwiftScripts app or clearing the app’s data through your device settings.

5. Your Rights Under POPIA

As a South African data subject, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). For more details about your rights and how we handle your data, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
